Daddy's new toy for his new side job...

So Daddy got a new toy for a new job...

I think he is in love...

He went from a tiny car to a fully loaded 4x4 truck!

He now says ..."i have the two kids, and my camera"...

and he has "the two kids, and his truck"...lol

I have to say it is pretty sweet, but l think l need a step stool to get in...it's got an extra spring so it sits alot higher.

Dylan would say..."Daddy has a monster truck".

And the kids just don't want to ride in the mini van anymore,

it's so boring compared to Daddy's truck.

Now the reasoning for the new truck is...

AG has decided to flip house's with my mom and stepfather.

So he needed it as he would say...lol

This is a big step and a big adventure but my husband is abit of a handyman and l know and have faith that he can do this.

He started the first house on July 1st and has been plugging away at it.

I am really impressed by what he has done.

I will post before and after pictures when the house is done.

So here is my gang washing the new toy...ya know you have to keep it clean...truly l know how he is feeling towards it for l feel that way about my camera and all it's gadgets...

and of couse we have the customized license firefighter plates...

Hi there everyone....

Hoping everyone is having a great summer so far,

The family and l are great and busy but l guess that is what summer is all about....

I am booked almost every weekend from now till October for weddings and am having so much fun shooting them.

Because of this ...time just seems to be flying by...

I am really starting to get so excited about going to the Bahamas in 7 weeks to shoot a wedding and have been gathering alot of ideas on great ways to pose and shoot this wedding.

I have to say l have been really blessed with all the brides and grooms.

Looking forward to next weekend...I have booked it off since December of last year and have alot of fun things planned for the kiddos...

Hopefully l will get some great shots of them...

I seem to not get my camera out as much when at home for l am always on camera over drive.

Actually you know it's bad when my daughter "says take a picture of me mom". Usually l am BEGGING her to sit a pose or let me shot them both. I think they are going through camera withdrawal as well....lol.

I have also booked a week off in august for us all in go to a cottage...again something that l am so looking for...peace....hubby....kids...beach...a fire...yahoo!

We had such an awesome Canada Day...

We spent the mourning and must of the afternoon at the Peterborough zoo and park...so much to do. We then came home for a BBQ and got ready for the fireworks...as you can see we were all decked out in our red for Canada Day.

The kids loved it and had such a blast...non stop all day long.

I just love days like this....

Alyssa's last day of JK....sniff sniff

It was Alyssa's last day of Junior kindergarten...and l have to say that l was abit sad...for it made me realize how big she is really getting.
It was a great day and a fabulous way to end her school year.
She had an amazing teacher who had nothing but positive words to say about Alyssa. "She was a joy to teach and never once did l need to speak to her about her behaviour."
Her report card was out of this world...so l was very one proud momma...lol
I really am amazed that a year has come and gone.
She became very close with these three girls below and they were all buddy buddy. So very cute.

Now summer has arrived and l have to find ways yo entertain her....oh my....

The end of the school year is here and Alyssa wanted to give all the kids in her class a little thank you for being her friend over the past year.

So her and l came up with the idea of a sucker for each one.

She decorated each one and wrote her name one all of them.

She was very proud of her little gift.

Especially since it was her idea that she wanted to give one out.
