what a long weekend we had...

I think that this had to be one of the most crazy, busy weird, sad, scary weekends of my life.
To start the weekend off l was asked to photography something very difficult. Something that l had a hard time with. I don't want to go into detail but it has left me looking at my life and family so in such a different way. I love them all and cherish each and everyday and moment that l have with them. Thank you so much Darcy for the flowers. They helped brighten up the day.
So for the may long weekend we went camping at my moms boyfriends farm. Unbelievably beautiful. Had such an amazing day on Saturday of awesome weather and so much sunshine. I actually got far to much! While we all were relaxing ...my moms boyfriends daughter wow was 7 months pregnant....was having alot of abdominal pains all day. Finally in the middle of the night she went to the hospital to find out that she was in labour, that her water had broke and she was at 5 centimeters dilated. Wow. Talk about scary. We were all prepared for the worst and were told that the doctors thought that the baby would only be around 2 pds, and that his little lungs would be very underdeveloped. Finally at around 10am...Haiden enter the world at a stunning 4 pds. 2oz. WOW. Everyone was so surprised. Of course the little man had to go on a breathing machine ...which the Docs felt we would be on for a while. But being the fighter that Haiden is ...was off the breathing tube in less then 24 hours and now has a feeding tube and is gaining weight. He was air lifted to a more well equipped hospital that can deal with all the problems that may lie ahead. But l have a feeling that he is going to surprise us all and will be home in no time. Congrats Amy and Ian. Be strong and god bless your little miracle man.
Now back to camping...beautiful day Saturday, ...then rainy cold weather through the night and Sunday mourning. We were sleeping in the tent. The kids didn't seem to mind it up l felt cold and damp. I guess it is called being OLD...lol. Glad that we got one great day in. The kids love the fireworks, camp fire and of coarse marshmallows. We must do it again this year...in the midst of my busy schedule.
Sunday was a friends birthday and we all were hitting a night of laughs at Yuk Yuks in town. I have to say that they were really good and made me laugh. To bad the crowd wasn't. It was a rough night for all. A few issues happened that l will not go into, but friends of ours are having a few personal issues which came into play in the night and caused a great deal of problems which in turn cut the night short....My husband and l went home and said the we were"boring"...lol. I said l would rather be boring then going through what they are going through. I wish everyone well and hope that they can all get their life in order for themselves and the children....enough said on that issue.
Then Monday mourning l received an e-mail from the Canadian Scrapbooker that they want to publish my layout for their fall issue. Yahoo. This is now the second time that l have been published. First time in the spring issue of the Canadian Scrapbooker. So you guys are goin have to watch for me in the fall issue. I really am so excited.
Then you may all know that l am so addicted to Facebook and entered Alyssa into a photo competition and well she WON. That's right my little girl is one on the way to becoming a super star...lol.

So l am so excited for tonight. Season finally of LOST. My favorite show in the whole wide world. 2 hours. Can't wait. I am counting down the hours. The show is always full of such twists and turns. I have no idea what may happen.
Looks like an awesome week of amazing weather. Always a plus. Kids just can't get enough of being outside. Me too!. Have a great week everyone!
